The plan of salvation is one of the main beliefs of our religion. It makes us different. A lot of things do but this is one of the big ones. We believe that when a couple or a family is sealed in the temple if they follow the commandments they can be together forever. Personally this is one of my favorite parts of church. I love that the church focus so much energy on the family. I love my family and to not know that I was going to see them again someday and having to wonder if I would see them after they died or not would be so hard. Heart breaking really. I love that if we do whats right we have the opportunity to be together forever. I am SO THANKFUL to know what I do about the family. I love that God has a plan for us, his children, and he loves us enough to let us be with our families forever. From this chapter in the book I learned that the creation, the fall, and the atonement all happened so that one day we could live with our Heavenly Father again and that we could be with our families again as well.
"God and His plan are eternal. He instituted marriage and family in the beginning."
He put us here for a reason. He put us on earth so we could have family and make it an eternal family so that one day we could return as a family to Him. I know that He loves us because of the plan of salvation. It is our job to do our best to keep the commandments and strive to return to Him again.
